The AZ Soul Food Music Festival is the brainchild of a cadre of community citizens who consider themselves food enthusiasts, tastemakers, and community influencers. It will be the first soul food, family-friendly, entertainment extravaganza of its type in Arizona on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

From the Buffalo Soldiers in 1892 (the first Black regiment in the Army serving at Fort Huachuca, Arizona), to the citizens of McNary (Arizona’s first all-black city that migrated to Arizona from Louisiana in 1924), Arizona has vast roots when it comes to the true distinction of soul food. Today’s soul food scene is a melting pot of foodies who have brought their unique style of soul food preparation to Arizona, all of which will be on full display, April 2.

Our food vendors, already rich in culture and pride, will share their long-treasured soul food masterpieces! In addition to countless food booths sure to satisfy every taste bud, there will be a continuum of live, family-friendly musical performances by local artists with a headlining national act. Not to mention, there will be a kids STEAM exploration site, retail, food, health, and art booths onsite to invigorate everyone’s senses.

Along with all the entertainment, The AZ Soul Food Music Festival will include a community award & donation presentation to some of our most appreciated community citizens and organizations.

Mark 4-2-22 on your calendar! Plan to sponsor a booth, or sit back and enjoy the delicious food, entertainment, and more.
